Priority Life Care: A Proud Member of Hilarity for Charity

Proudly Partnering with Hilarity for Charity

At Priority Life Care, we are committed to enhancing the lives of seniors and their families through compassionate care, innovative support, and meaningful community partnerships. That’s why we are proud to be a member of Hilarity for Charity (HFC)—a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Founded by Seth and Lauren Miller Rogen, HFC takes a unique, engaging approach to Alzheimer’s advocacy, using comedy and entertainment to spark conversations while funding critical care and research. Their mission aligns with our own commitment to providing person-centered memory care, ensuring that individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia receive the respect, dignity, and support they deserve.

Through our involvement with HFC, Priority Life Care is furthering efforts to support caregivers, educate communities, and promote brain health initiatives. As part of this network, we continue to advocate for those affected by Alzheimer’s, ensuring they receive the best possible care and resources.

We are honored to stand alongside Hilarity for Charity in the fight against Alzheimer’s and look forward to making a lasting impact together. To learn more about our memory care programs and how we support those on the dementia journey, visit Priority Life Care’s Memory Care.

My dad very reluctantly went to Independence Court for a two week respite stay while I was on vacation. To my surprise he had a wonderful experience. The Admission Director (Timmi Roberts) was extremely helpful at helping us get this set up on short notice. During his stay he said the food was very good and they supplied him with gluten free options since he has Celiac disease. Each day he went and exercised which he never does. The Activities Director (Sharon Jankovik) kept him very engaged in fun activities such as Wii bowling which he also loved. She even sent us two video's to let us see how he was doing. That was awesome!! He spent time talking with other residents and really had a great experience. What welcomed relief to have him so cared for while we were away.

I have been the an employee at Independence Court for over 25 years, of which I have been the Activities Director. My mother came to live here over 10 years ago. Her family did not anticipate her longevity. She truly enjoys being with people, having choices for activities, and loves sitting in the sun to people watch and bird watch. I can not express how thankful I am to see her always with a smile. The mutual respect between the staff and my mother appreciated.

The staff who have cared for my client have gone above and beyond in making sure that she has always felt welcomed, loved & important. The med techs, caregivers, activities directors, receptionists, & Most especially director of nursing, Tammy McElhose have offered so much compassion. From the day Tammy met her she became a touchstone for her. Tammy offers so much love and concern. Her big kind & compassionate heart is one of a kind & I am grateful that she has been a part of my clients journey.

Tiffany, the Director of Sales & Marketing, was a wonderful help to us & addressed our concerns thoroughly as we transitioned our loved one to this personal care home. We were warmly greeted by Tyler (Executive Director), Marcelle (Director of Nursing), Mel (Patient Life Enrichment) and so many others. They are a fantastic team! Recent renovations make the facility inviting and bright. Multiple activities are offered almost every day and the staff make an effort to connect with each resident.
